Course Description Evolution, concepts and theories of mental health and psychiatric nursing therapeutics, roles and responsibilities of the professional nurse, principles of psychiatric nursing therapeutics, community mental health, deviated mental health, understanding of therapies using the nursing process with emphasis on caring and family participation, within legal limitations and professional codes of ethics, in order to maintain, promote and protect the physical, psychological, social and spiritual health of individual, groups, families and communities. 2.
