Description
This short volume is a set of informal essays primarily about writing academic books. There are a few essays on editing academic books, too. Topics covered are how authors got the idea for the book, the process of writing the book, the benefits and pitfalls of writing a book, and anything else authors would like to tell persons interested in writing books. Writing one or more books often gives a boost to academics who are early in their careers.
