This report is composed annually by the Finance, Systems, and Budget Group (FSBG)of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The Enrollment Reportprofiles Medicaid managed care programs on a plan-specific basis as of June 30, 2005.County level data is not collected. The information was collected from State Medicaidagencies and CMS Regional Offices. Data is presented for all States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The Total Medicaid population for 1997-2005 was collected by States at the same time the managed care enrollmentnumbers were collected instead of using 2082 data as in previous years. These figures represent point-in-timeenrollment as of June 30th for each reporting year.The
unduplicated
managed care enrollment figures include enrollees receiving comprehensive benefits and limitedbenefits. This table also provides
unduplicated
national figures for the Total Medicaid population and Otherpopulation. The statistics also include individuals enrolled in State health care reform programs that expandeligibility beyond traditional Medicaid eligibility standards.
