I. Situation

Higher Unit Mission
The Fighting Blue Hen Battalion conducts PT andLeadership Lab during Week 5 (28SEP09-02OCT09) at each company’srespective training sites, IOT improve physical fitness and continue toeducate and develop cadets military skills.
Higher Unit Intent:
Commanders Intent: It is my intent that the BNconducts weekly company pt and lab according to their respectivecompany training calendars. All cadets arrive on time, are accountedfor, have the proper uniform and equipment to conduct training. Endstate for this operation will be complete when all Cadets conductweekly physical training and lab improving their knowledge of militaryskills and physical fitness.
Rear Unit Mission:
Bravo Co. of the Fighting Blue Hen Battalionconducts PT and LEADLAB on Squad Attack/EPW NLT 021600OCT09 IOTdevelop and train cadets and prepare MS III’s for LDAC.Attachments/Detachments: None
II. Mission
Alpha Company of the Fighting Blue Hen Battalion conducts PT and LEADLABon squad attack and EPW searches at company training areas (CSB, BN HQ,Ranger Hill) NLT 021600OCT09 IOT provide proper training to cadets andprepare MS III’s for Warrior Forge 2010.
III. Execution
Commander’s Intent: It is my intent that all cadets receive training on squadattack/EPW search and all complete physical training without sustaining anyinjuries. Rehearsals will be conducted, plans will be submitted and cadets willshow up to all events on time, in the proper uniform. The end state of thisoperation is when cadets complete their weekly physical training andLEADLAB training.Concept of Operation This operation will be conducted in three phases:Phase I: Consists of rehearsals and plan dissemination
 
Phase II: Consists of Alpha Company executing PT and LEADLABaccording to company training calendarPhase III: Consists of AAR’s and accountabilityManeuverPhase I: Begins with C/CPT Smith attending the BN staff meetingto inform BN leadership on upcoming company events. It continues with therehearsal of squad attack/EPW search LEADLAB by C/SFC Hicks and C/SSGBourett with their platoon leader and then A Co. CO. PT instructors will submittheir PT plan to their evaluator and platoon leader one week before their PT.Lab instructors for week 7 will also submit their lab plan to evaluators andplatoon leader for feedback and review. This phase ends when PT plan for02OCT is submitted for review.Phase II: Begins with a 3.5 Mile Run and PU/SU improvement PTon 21SEP by C/SSG Sherwood at Frazier Field. It continues on Wednesdaymorning when cadets go on a 40 minute Ruck March led by C/SSG Bourett.C/SFC Hicks and C/SSG Bourett will conduct LEADLAB on squad attack andEPW search at Ranger Hill. This phase ends after C/SSG Keena’s Tire PT onFriday morning.Phase III: Begins with MS III’s conducting an AAR of PT andLEADLAB and submitting it to C/CPT Schellenger (Assistant S3). All equipmentdrawn from the S4 will be accounted for and returned. Uniform: Will be specified by event instructor. Uniform will meet ArmyStandard, as will cadet appearance.
IV: Service and Support
General:Resupply: No resupply availableMaterial ServiceCadets will coordinate with C/CPT Timmick, the BN S4, for any suppliesneeded Transportation: Cadets will arrive at events via POV, or walkingServices: NoneIn case of injury or illness, CLS qualified personnel will respond accordingly. If injury or illness is not severe, injured personnel will be transported via GSAvan to nearest hospital. If there is a possibility of loss of life or limb, 911 willbe dialed and injured personnel will be transported by ambulance to eitherNewark Emergency Center or Christiana Care Hospital.
V. Command and SignalCommand
Location of Command: Alpha Company Commander will be present at alltraining events except for 1
