The Federal Ministry of Finance will be issuing a 2 Euro commemora-

tive coin every year from 2006 until 2021 covering the landmarks of the
federal states. The order of this series is based on the presidency of the
German states in the Federal Council, starting with the state of Schles-
wig-Holstein in 2006, followed by Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in 2007,
Hamburg in 2008, Saarland in 2009, Bremen in 2010, North Rhine-West-
phalia in 2011, Bavaria in 2012, Baden-Wuerttemberg in 2013, Lower
Saxony in 2014, Hessen in 2015, Saxony in 2016, Rhineland-Palatinate
in 2017, Berlin in 2018, Saxony-Anhalt in 2019, Thuringia in 2020, Bran-
denburg in 2021.
