    Congratulations to Rob Klee on his appointment to be our next commissioner of the state Department of
    Energy and Environmental Protection (read more here).

    I want to thank Governor Malloy for this appointment. Rob Klee has a solid background in science –
    including ecology, geology and forestry. Dr. Klee is a resident of Westville and is familiar with our local
    issues, including the West River. I am confident Dr. Klee’s appointment bodes well for West River water
    quality.

    I look forward to working with Dr. Klee on the West River and numerous other environmental and energy
