Whether she applies it herself or you have a make-up artistparticipating in your shooting – make sure that the makeup reallyunderlines the beauty of your model . Don’t accept a makeup that does notsuite your models face, let them change it until it is really lookingbeautiful.
5.Make Soft Light
In order to tone down wrinkles andspots you should make strong softlight. There are a lot of light shapingtools for this. The most popular setupmight be to have two softboxespositioned camera left and right asclose to the model as possible. A morehandy lightshaping tool which alsoworks really good is the shoot-throughumbrella.
6.Care For A Good Atmosphere
A clinical atmosphere can kill ashooting right from the start. On theother hand, if a shooting is a funexperience for everybody, then this isvisible in the photos big time. So carefor a good atmosphere. Plan enoughtime for everything so that you don’thave to pace and stress the people,play the music that people like, havedrinks which the people like and mostof all: be in a really really good mood yourself.
7.Have Your Model Flirting With The Lens
It really comes across in photos when the model is flirting with yourcamera. Some models just have a natural talent for that. Some require alittle warm up phase in the shooting. What I usually do is that I myself startan innocent flirt with the model. I just try to be charming and fun, I make alot of honest compliments and I reflect a smile whenever the model is
