Strengths of SBA
Based on a study (Y1 academic progress in 3 urban primary schools) Encourages personal progress Developed positive attitudes Enhance collaborative skills Promotes creative teaching and learning activities

Weaknesses of SBA
Evaluation is still too subjective Students have less control over their performance as it is predominantly up to teachers to grade them Lack of proper introduction on PBS to parents Streaming system via PBS is still ambiguous
