I
dea Capital
works toward a support structure to encourage new ideas in art production acrossall genres o the arts; including visual, dance, literary, perormance, digital media, music, criti-cal writing, lm, and video. Te grant, which is unded entirely by personally meaningul con-tributions rom a wide variety o community members, is to encourage experimentation and inves-tigation by giving artists permission to pursue new ideas. As unding or individual artists rom private and government sources has declined, Idea Capitalseeks to reassert the role o the artist and to establish a new model or support outside o typicalinstitutional models.Emerging artists, as well as established artists and cultural workers, are encouraged to apply orthese unds. We are seeking exciting ideas that oster a culture o change and create dialogue.
