Chairmen's Message

Here at Walkathon World Headquarters, the action and excitement is nonstop.The phones ring constantly. The emails fly 24x7. Staffers, executives, anddignitaries rush up and down our carpeted hallways day and night. These are thefinal days, people! It’s the fourth quarter, the 11th hour!The priority: Our #1 priority is PLEDGES . Pledges, pledges, pledges!Pledges are Walkathon’s #1 source of revenue. They contribute 60 PERCENT of all money! Your kids brought home their Pledge Packets last week (in whiteenvelopes). Help them actively collect pledges every day. Ask relatives,neighbors and co-workers. Every dollar makes a difference.

2009 Pledge Goal Is $200 Per Student!

Please collect those pledges! Put extra effort into it this year. We suggest a$20.00 per contribution, but any amount is terrific. Let’s make the “AmazingRace” the most amazing Walkathon ever!
