YELLOW FEVER: VACCINATION CERTIFICATES REQUIRED: JAN 2008

1. Travellers coming directly from Europe to Tanzania, for example, on the daily KLM
flight from Amsterdam to Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam, who have not visited a country
where the disease is endemic, will not need a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate .

2. Travellers coming from Europe who transit through an endemic country will need
aYellow fever vaccination certificate. For example, arrivals on Ethiopian via Addis and/or
Nairobi will need the certificate.

3.Travellers on any international flight to Nairobi, for example British Airways, Swiss,
Kenya Airways, etc, who then connect to Kilimanjaro or Dar es Salaam by charter or
other connecting flight on Kenya Airways or Precision will need the Yellow fever
vaccination certificate.

4. The vaccination is available at Kilimanjaro Airport for those who do not have the
certificate. The cost is $50 US per vaccination.

Procedure.
On arrival the passengers must first go to the health desk. Immigration will not accept
passports that do not have the Health department stamp provided upon presentation of the
certificate.
