Walking This Way
E
ditor’s note
Walk This Way is a song by American hardrock group, Aerosmith. It was written bySteven Tyler and Joe Perry. It was originallyreleased as the second single from their 1975album Toys in the Attic. In addition to being one of the songs thathelped break Aerosmith into the mainstreamin the 1970s, it also helped resurrect theircareer and revolutionised the new hybridsub-musical genre of rock and rap. It becamean international hit and won both groups aSoul Train Music Award for Best Rap singlein 1987. The song was also covered by theUK girl groups Sugababes and Girls Aloud as
the ofcial Comic Relief single in 2007. It’s a
wonderful song I love. And so, in the spirit of this song, we warmlywelcome you to a bumper edition of
NaijaTimes. It’s a brand new month for us
here. We have been off the news stand for awhile and we are glad to be back again. In this maiden return edition, there arestories which cut across different areas
of human interest. Uche Nnaji of OUCHCouture tells us in his own voice the story
behind the success of his label while there
is an interesting ‘war’ between Femi Branch, actor and Clarion Chukwura, actress as Femi
shares what he knows about women while
Clarion says what she knows about men.
In this edition also, there is a special sectionon the ongoing One 9ja Million Dollar GameShow, where people from all works of lifehave the rare opportunity to win millionsof dollars. In fact, some people are alreadywinning millions of naira as our story on theKaduna leg of the show reveals. Also, some new and interesting sections havebeen added to this re-launch edition for your
delight. Hence we invite you to walk this way
with us every month as we promise moreinteresting stories in subsequent editions. Seeyou again next month.
