BuffaloThe Buffalo were everything to the Indians every partof there body were used for something to do with anIndian. Indians were the Buffalos predators as theywere the only ones who would dare catch them. TheBuffalo skin was a vital part for the Indians aswithout the skin they would have no tipi to live in andno heat to or clothing. Even the Buffalo horns gotused as spoons or headdresses. The part of theBuffalo most used was the rawhide. It was used for 26 things many as shields and again headdresses.The hide was also used quite a lot for a number of things that were used variously 20 things to be exact. Without the Buffalo it would have been impossible for the Indians to live there as the Buffalo wereeverything. method the Indians used to kill the Buffalo.As you can see the Indian uses aspear to stick into the Buffalo to cause it so muchpain it is forced to come to halt so they can murder the Buffalo completely. After they murder they send amessage to the women from the tribes to collapsedown the Tipis and report to the male tribes as theBuffalo were too heavy for the Horses to drag backalong the Plains. As the women of the tribe shouldget there the male should be taking every part of theBuffalo that could come in use and skin the Buffalo.Even the tail of the Buffalo was used. The tail wasused for decorations amongst a number of things.The rawhides uses were incredible with the number of things the Indians managed to use them for.
