Have you ever been on a journey and you have sat confusedas to which road to take? Maybe you have ventured outwithout a map or your map is too hard to follow. It’s adifficult one isn’t it and you need guidance to reach yourchosen destination. You know we can be standing at thecrossroads of life and although there are only two choices tomake, some people find it a difficult one to make.Here the Bible is our map, our guidebook.Matthew 7:13 “You can enter God’s Kingdom only throughthe narrow gate. The highway to hell* is broad, and its gateis wide for the many who choose the easy way. 14 But thegateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only afew ever find it.

Many will travel through the broad gate on the broad roadthat leads to hell. The pleasures of this life are but for onefleeting moment in the scope of eternity. The narrow way isthe one, which will have fewer travellers, but it leads to life,eternal life.Jesus Himself said “I am the way the truth and the life, noman comes to the Father but by me.”The Bible tells us we are all sinners and sin separatesnatural man from God. God provided a way for us to bereconciled to Him. He loved us so much he sent His only sonJesus to die for us, for He is a loving Father and beckons usto come on home to Him. He longs for you dear friend tochoose life and choose Him. We are so glad that we choose tofollow Jesus, for He came into our lives and we found a lovebeing poured out into our lives and into our hearts that isbeyond any human perception. For you see God is theFather you have always been searching for. You may have agood earthly father, but even good earthly dad’s love palesinto insignificance compared to that of God the Father, forHe sacrificed His only son for you and I. Praise God thoughfor Jesus is alive today and his arms are wide open saying toyou” My dear one, How I want you to come to me, Cometoday.”John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his onlySon, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish buthave eternal life.Confess your sins and Jesus will forgive you, ask Him intoyour life and you will follow the narrow road to life, aneverlasting life with Jesus.If we choose the broad road we are choosing Satan and aneternity in hell. Which gate will you enter in?

AT THE CROSSROADSI’ve been walking along life’s journey for a long time now,And I came to the crossroads and looked for the right way togo,But I was confused as to which road was right for me topursue,Should I follow the broad road or the one which is narrow?My friends looked at the broad road and thought togetherwe will go,I was a pilgrim seeking something new so I chose the roadthat was narrow,It meant going a lonely road and a big change in life’sdirection,But this narrow road meant finding Jesus Christ andsalvation.For broad is the road that many will pursue but it leads todestruction,And narrow is the road leading to eternal life andregeneration,For although I am travelling on the lonely road that lesspursue,I never ever travel this journey alone for the Lord is with metoo.I have a hope that is certain and sure, of eternity with mybest friend.And I know that I will go to be with Him when I reach life’s journeys end,I need not worry and I need not fear for my Lord bringspeace and joy,No matter what comes at me along life’s journey, in him Irejoice.
