John Gibbons
John is a Political Science and Chinese Major with a Minor in International Development Studies. He will also graduate with a certificate in Social Entrepreneurship. He spent the summer of 2012 as an intern in Jodhpur, India, working with a womens empowerment organization to create a business plan for a social entrepreneurial caf. During the summer of 2013, he studied an ethnonationalist political party in Pune, India for his thesis. Over the winter of 2013, he returned to Jodhpur to conduct market research for the previously mentioned caf, a project he has continued since the summer of 2012. John is passionate about housing issues and hopes that he can bring his experience!E0&'!2#.0+4! %*&(%6(%*%B(2'06!+*,!F#B&'!;20+!&#!/%+(! 3#(!9:;<=!

Megan Olson
Megan is a senior Political Science major with minors in Brazilian and Portuguese studies and International Development Studies. She spent 7 months in 2012 studying NGO accountability and foreign langauge education in Salvador, Brazil. The following summer, she returned to Brazil to further explore policy issues in Salvador and Rio de Janeiro for her capstone essay. These experiences have provided her with on the ground exposure to the complex interactions of the private and public sectors, experience conducting field research in a foreign language, and fueled her passion for policy issues related to international development. She is eager to bring her experiences from Latin America to BRAC to offer a unique perspective to the policy issues related to housing.
