The Presentation of the Lord

In todays Gospel, Mary and Joseph present Jesus in the temple where he is consecrated or set apart to serve the Lord. Each of us is consecrated in our baptism to serve Gods purpose and then molded by God in our family. Take time to talk and pray together about seeking and following God in our homes and lives.

320 Holy Hours were kept with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration last week. Attention Adorers: is there anyone who can switch around their hours to help me out on Fridays? We need to fill the hours of 7-8am, 3-4pm, 7-9pm., any help would be greatly appreciated. Please call Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926 as soon as possible.

This Sunday we celebrate World Day for Consecrated Life. We recognize and give thanks for those who have consecrated their lives to God and the Church through the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. The consecrated life is one way that women and men live out their baptismal commitment as followers of Jesus. We pray for Fr. Majikas, Fr. Glaros and Fr. Pfeiffer and ask God to bless our Church with others who will dedicate their lives to Gods service. Due to the extreme cold last month, the Catholicism Generations of Faith was cancelled.
