Dear Reader
.
Welcome to the AIM January Projects special issue. This contains all the projects from our 12 Makes for Christmas publication as well as some new items. If you live in the cold climate of the northern hemisphere snuggle up with your miniatures tool kit and get making for the future; if you are basking in southern hemisphere sunshine take your kit out on the deck and get going. I am grateful to all the AIM members who found the time to contribute to this special issue and, of course, to Bea and Tony Broadwood for their technical expertise in uploading every issue. Next issue will be our 50
th
 – a very significant number. If you have suggestions for topics of future issues please get in touch. You will find my contact details in the sidebar. Wishing you all a happy and successful 2014.
Sally
