RHODE ISLAND - Following endorsements from the Rhode Island State Association of Fire Fighters and the Coventry Democratic Town Committee, 32 members of Rhode Islands General Assembly have endorsed Angel Taveras for Governor. Members of both the Senate and House of Representatives represent the entire State of Rhode Island, from Westerly to Woonsocket. These supporters come from every corner of Rhode Island.

Mayor Taveras has demonstrated the leadership and administrative skills to resurrect Providence. His ability to collaborate, communicate, and negotiate are important attributes that will help him lead Rhode Island. State Representative Donna Walsh (Charlestown, New Shoreham, South Kingstown, Westerly) I believe Angel Taveras is an experienced leader who understands the importance of working together to achieve the change Rhode Island needs to succeed. State Representative Lisa Tomasso (Coventry, West Greenwich) "When I talk with Angel, I know he is going to work just as hard for my constituents as he is for anybody else in Rhode Island. He isn't someone who has special interests who dictate what he does. He does what he thinks is right." State Representative Deborah Fellela (Johnston) I am grateful to these 32 State Senators and State Representatives for their support

and for their belief in the Democratic values that I stand for, said Mayor Angel Taveras. I look forward to continuing to work with these officials, and all Rhode Islanders, to convey my message of hope and my plans to move Rhode Island forward.
