Where in the heck have I been?I know, I know…I haven’t written a weekly newsletter in nearly a month, and the idiotaffiliate sitehasn’t been updated in nearly that long as well. So where have I been and what have I been up to?As most of you know, I now have a child and the parental duties are all on me. As an affiliate marketer and new work-at-home-dad, I am okay with that. Caring for a little one was not as hard as I thought itwould be although the real challenge is actually juggling the workload (my business) with a child ANDhave enough free time to actually do the fun stuff (like my website) at the same time.At first, this has been a huge challenge, as my sleep schedule and my hard-headedness at not adjustingthis to my baby’s needs has made for many sleepless days. Now, she is sleeping through the night andthings are starting to resume to normalcy. In other words, my free time is

once again and I am ableto do the stuff that I actually love.That said, I have made a few additions to Idiot Affiliate that I think will make most of you very happy.



IdiotAffiliate is now in “magazine” mode- I wanted to test this.The problem with regular blogsis that most of the time, there is only one featured article or post.By using a magazine layout,the reader can peruse through many articles easily. Also, a magazine layout yields for better visual connection (check out the pictures).



Also, I am in the process of building a membership site that will be exclusive to my list (you)only. If you are like me, you are constantly searching for products to sell online and as you are probably aware, you can get a ton of products via membership sites.Affiliates like Liz Tomay,swear by these and if you are on multiple lists, chances are you have been sold or advertised tofor many of these products.I will talk more on that later on in this report.I would love some feedback on the new look of IdiotAffiliate so if you have any suggestions, by allmeans, let me know.

Get Ranked Highly with Wikidot.

If you have a website, you will probably know that there is much more to getting ranked with acompetitive keyword than simply throwing up a bunch of content on your site and hoping that theIdiotAffiliate.com

google gods will be kind to you.Most of the time, this entails making several websites point back to your site. Sites such as Squidoo andscribd can help you rank quickly in the SERPS. Now, I haven’t used this service yet but someone from one of the membership sites that I subscribe tohas and he has made some interesting finds when doing this. Here are some of his findings…I've mentioned wikidot.com a few times, and I'm having a ball experimenting with it.And I mentionedthat Travis Sago sold a bunch of copies of 5 Bucks a Day a few weeks agowith a promotion that surprised the heck out of me.I've been able to get some search phrases ranked on Google pretty quickly lately (some have actuallygone back down the last couple days, but I'm hoping they go back up after things are shuffled), but Ifigured I'd try an ultimate experiment.And pay Travis back a little for promoting my book withoutasking.I had no interest in Frank Kern's Mass Control, probably a great course, but I don't have the time or energy, too much else going on. I did notice Travis promoting it hard, though, so I asked himif he minded if I put up a little page on my wiki about Mass Control with his affiliate link. Nothing big, I told him I've been having good luck getting things indexed and ranked. So sure, whynot, Travis said.So 2 days ago I added a page to my wiki and this morning it's ranked #2 on Google for mass controlsite and #3 for frank kern mass control. Look quick, not sure how long it will stay there, butconsidering this is launch day for the course,I probably annoyed a few of the people that are giving upeverything they own to convince you to buy through their link.Oh, want another example? I started another wiki the other day, 2 or 3 days ago.You'd think the phrasehostgator web hosting would be pretty competitive, right? Actually there's 1,840,000 results. Got a Site? IdiotAffiliate is looking for Writers

Like I said earlier, I have changed my sites look and feel to more of a news site and because of this, Iam looking for writers and blog owners to fill it with some content. So, as you may have guessed, the benefit of me doing this for me is I don't have to spend hours writing content for the site.However, how would you benefit from it?Before I changed the layout, Idiot Affiliate was a Page Rank 3.
