MCMILLAN ADVISORY GROUP COMMUNITY BENEFITS AGREEMENT RESIDENTS OF SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICT 5E09 WHAT: Community Benefits Agreement

(CBA) for the planned development of McMillan Sand Filtration Site (not a community park) WHY: As part of any development project, there is an opportunity for the surrounding communities to request and negotiate specific items that will benefit the community (examples include financial commitments for Ward-5 specific job training or changes to the plan for additional affordable housing). This is a chance for our community to discuss and request items that will best benefit our neighborhood. The quality of these benefits should outweigh the negative impact of the project on our community. HOW: All community residents are welcome to participate, please join us. Provided below are upcoming meeting for discussions of the CBA. McMillan Advisory Group Meeting: February 13th at 2001 North Capitol St NE (All Nations Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall) at 7:00 PM Bloomingdale Civic Association: February 17th at 160 U street NW (St. Georges Episcopal Church) at 7:00 PM McMillan Advisory Group Meeting: February 27th at 2001 North Capitol St NE (All Nations Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall) at 7:00 PM 5E09 SMD Meeting will provide updated Community Benefits Agreement and an updated presentation of the Stage One - Planned Unit Development (PUD) Master Plan on March 6th at 2001 North Capitol St NE (All Nations Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall) at 7:00 PM
