Founded in 1986, Michael Stars was created by South Africa native, Michael Cohen. Michael Stars started as a simple t-shirt company, selling brightly colored, French inspired graphic unisex t-shirts. With help from an artist who had been selling hand painted t-shirts at a Manhattan Beach Fair, Michael Stars was created, bringing a distinctive style to the world of fashion. Family-run from the beginning, Michael Stars now designs comfortable womens apparel with unique colors and a contour fit.
