KUALA LUMPUR: Packet OneNetworks (M) Sdn Bhd is appointinga second WiMAX technology partnerin ZTE Corporation, a leading globalprovider of telecommunicationequipments and network solutions totelecom operators all over the world, inaddition to its existing partner Alcatel-Lucent.WiMAX is scheduled to formalisethe new partnership at a signingceremony here on March 19.In a statement on March 13, PacketOne said it was part of its ongoingefforts to accelerate the expansion of the country's largest WiMAX network.It said ZTE, as one of the 15 WiMAXForum Board members, had been astrong promoter and a critical player of WiMAX ecosystem.
