Topic 1 - War's A Brewin' Lesson 2: Alliances

Today's Mission: I can describe how nations planned to ght in World War I. Challenge 1: Tackle the Vocabulary 1.) An act of aggression is a hostile action or invasion. 2.) Arbitration is when two groups who are in a disagreement go to a third person or group to settle the dispute by listening to both sides of the argument and rendering a decision 3.) A defensive war is when a nation or group of nations attempt to protect their territory from attack or invasion. 4.) The Fourteen Points were President Woodrow Wilson's the peace and the establishment of the League of plan to be put in place after World War I to keep Nations. 5.) A front is a battle - zone or an area where armies are facing each other. 6.) An invasion is when a foreign country's armed forces enter another country with the intentions of conquering it.
