Therewasadrouthinthefallof1867;andnorainfellfor fourmonths.Allofthecropswerekilled,andlargecrackswere formed'intheground.Ifasmallanimalfellintooneofthese cracks,itwoulddieifnottakenout.Twoorthreehousesburned inthisdrouthperiod.Thewallshad'
