Interesting post. I'm not sure just how valid it is today. the tension of keeping the whole country (an d it's big) in a safe and passive state whilst allowing growth is very difficult and they can only do it because of the control they exert. with google et al assisting their internal security and their growing power through their cyber battallions I'm not sure how valid this report is right now. I think the risk of losing the opportunity for "big money" is what keeps many people in check. ohh and the bammboo gulag too of course. either way intersting post and would love to rewad an up to dat version.
