PROJECT DETAILS:
Topic : Automation of bula 181 papering
machine
Company : TITAN Industries Ltd, Hosur.
Abstract :
The work table of papering machine was
actuated manually by hand and the movement of grinding head
was actuated using foot pedal arrangement. As a result, production
rate was less and the metal removal was not uniform.
To solve this problem, mechanical foot
pedal arrangement was changed to roller DCV arrangement. Work
table movement was automated using a hydraulic unit with timer
and relay.
After automation, uniform metal removal
was achieved and the production

rate was found to be increased. 10
