Abstract This bibliography contains references to papers, conference proceedings and theses= dissertations dealing with the linear and nonlinear nite element and boundary element analyses of shells that were published in 1999 2001.? 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.

1. Introduction This bibliography provides a list of references on the linear and nonlinear nite element and boundary element analyses of shells. General solution techniques as well as problem-specic applications are included. The entries have been retrieved from the authors database, MAKEBASE. They are grouped into two main sections:
Finite elements Boundary elements

The references have been published in scientic journals, conference proceedings, and theses= dissertations between 1999 and 2001 (the rst ve months of 2001) [1310,382394]. Some previously published papers, reviews and theses on the analysis of shells by means of nite element and boundary element methods, in general, can be found in entries [311381] of the Finite element methods section and in [395 398] of the Boundary element methods section of this bibliography, respectively. The references are sorted in each category alphabetically according to the rst authors name.
