How and why are some ecosystems
threatened with destruction?
The term ecosystem describes a grouping of plants and animals that is linked with its local physical environment.
The oceans, covering two-thirds of our planet, are home to marine ecosystem communities composed of fish, aquatic plants and sea birds- as well as tiny but very important organisms such as krill and plankton.
HINT: make sure you are able to name some values of the Oceans e.g. its uses and value to human and animal life.
