The Make It Happen Foundation, founded by Kevin Liles, Founder and CEO of KWL Enterprises, in partnership with School of Business and Management, Entrepreneurial Development and Assistance Center (EDAC), and other resource providers, provided 12 Baltimore City and County High School students the opportunity to participate in a two week business entrepreneurship summer academy, on the campus of Morgan State University.

National Great Blacks & Wax Museum Teen entrepreneurs learned about the contributions African Americans made throughout the world.

Emerging Technology Centers (ETC) Teen entrepreneurs gained valuable information from entrepreneurs housed in ETC. The tech companies provided teams with the technology guidance needed to develop mobile apps.

Federal Reserve Bank


The tour at the Federal Reserve Bank provided an overview of the Federal Reserve System, a scavenger hunt and a cash operations presentation.

I enjoyed going on the field trips, but the one a I like best was the Federal Reserve Bank. It taught me how money flows, and the importance of investing and saving. Imani Henderson, Parkville High School
