OVERVIEW

The FC Shoreline select program was founded in 2001 to provide a localoption for players from the Hillwood and Shorelake soccer clubs(recreational clubs formed in the 1960’s) to develop their skills and abilitiesin a more competitive setting.FC Shoreline provides a setting where soccer players and coaches cancompete at the District and Washington State Premier League (WSPL) level.FC Shoreline works with local coaches and players from Hillwood andShorelake to develop opportunities for them to attain the skills andunderstanding of what it takes to compete at a higher level.

MISSION STATEMENT

To work with SYSA to develop the best select soccer program in the NorthKing and South Snohomish county areas.

OUR CORE BELIEFS

During the development years, some children will excel at soccer and seek amore competitive place to play. We recognize this and strive to meet thisneed by creating an environment where youth soccer players can growmentally, physically, and emotionally through the game of soccer.The game of soccer provides opportunities to develop a positive self-imageand respect for teammates, opponents, and referees.We will educate players on how to “Honor the Game.” Winning isimportant, but life lessons are even more important.Our program is open to all kids.FC SHORELINE OFFERS ITS PLAYERS AND FAMILIES:

Quality training by experienced licensed coaches;

The best local fields, including Shoreline Park, Shoreline Stadium, TwinPonds, and various local schools;

Scholarship opportunities for players needing assistance.
