I. Situation

Higher Unit Mission
The Fighting Blue Hen Battalion conducts PT andLeadership Lab during Week 7 (12OCT-16OCT) at each company’srespective training sites, IOT improve physical fitness and continue toeducate and develop cadets’ military skills.
Higher Unit Intent:
Commanders Intent: It is my intent that the BNconducts weekly company pt and lab according to their respectivecompany training calendars. All cadets arrive on time, are accountedfor, have the proper uniform and equipment to conduct training. Endstate for this operation will be complete when all Cadets conductweekly physical training and lab improving their knowledge of militaryskills and physical fitness.
Rear Unit Mission:
Bravo Co. of the Fighting Blue Hen Battalionconducts PT and Land Navigation NLT 161600OCT09 IOT develop andtrain cadets and prepare MS III’s for LDAC.Attachments/Detachments: None
II. Mission
Alpha Company of the Fighting Blue Hen Battalion conducts PT and LandNavigation Training at company training areas (CSB, BN HQ, Fair Hill) NLT161600OCT09 IOT provide proper training to cadets and prepare MS III’s forWarrior Forge 2010.
III. Execution
Commander’s Intent: It is my intent that all score 70% or above on both dayand night land navigation and complete all physical training without injury.Rehearsals will be conducted, plans will be submitted and cadets will show upto all events on time, in the proper uniform. The end state of this operation iswhen cadets complete their weekly physical training and Land Navigation Training.Concept of Operation This operation will be conducted in three phases:Phase I: Consists of rehearsals and plan dissemination
 
Phase II: Consists of Alpha Company executing PT and LEADLABaccording to company training calendarPhase III: Consists of AAR’s and accountabilityManeuverPhase I: Begins with C/CPT Smith attending the BN staff meetingto inform BN leadership on upcoming company events. It continues with therehearsal of Land Navigation LEADLAB by C/1SG Lynch and C/SSG Sherwoodwith their platoon leader and then A Co. CO. PT instructors will submit theirPT plan to their evaluator and platoon leader one week before their PT. Labinstructors for week 9 will also submit their lab plan to evaluators and platoonleader for feedback and review. Because there is no PT on Friday 16OCT, thisphase will end after the last rehearsal for Land Navigation.Phase II: Begins with a 4.5 Mile Run and core workout PT on12OCT by C/SSG Reese at Frazier Field. It continues on Wednesday morningwhen C/SFC Lewandowski leads a sprints and upper body workout PT onFrazier Field. C/1SG Lynch and C/SSG Sherwood will conduct Battalion Dayand Night Land Navigation Training at Fair Hill Resource Area. This phaseends with a 3 day Fall Break for UDEL cadets and after PT Friday morning forDSU cadets.Phase III: Begins with cadets returning from 3 day Fall Break andMS III’s conducting an AAR of PT and LEADLAB for the week and submitting itto C/CPT Schellenger (Assistant S3). All equipment drawn from the S4 will beaccounted for and returned. This phase ends when the AAR is submitted andall equipment has been returned to C/CPT Timmick. Tasks to Maneuver UnitsC/1LT Williams T: Oversee physical training of Delaware State cadetsP: IOT meet company and battalion training standards1

IV: Service and Support
General:Resupply: No resupply availableMaterial ServiceCadets will coordinate with C/CPT Timmick, the BN S4, for any suppliesneeded Transportation: Cadets will arrive at events via POV, or walkingServices: NoneIn case of injury or illness, CLS qualified personnel will respond accordingly. If injury or illness is not severe, injured personnel will be transported via GSAvan to nearest hospital. If there is a possibility of loss of life or limb, 911 willbe dialed and injured personnel will be transported by ambulance to eitherNewark Emergency Center or Christiana Care Hospital.
V. Command and SignalCommand
Location of Command: Alpha Company Commander will be present at alltraining events except for beginning of Day Land Navigation training.Company chain of command will assume position until C/CPT Smith’s returnSuccession of Command: C/CPT Smith, C/1LT Williams, C/1LT Streckenbein,C/1LT Conger, C/1SG Lynch, C/SFC Hicks, C/SFC, Lewandowski
