Question: If this is supposed to "authentic" , "objective", why do we see only the quotations and "exceprts" from Indology sources?
There is no in depth discussion of the Hindu scriptures or references to relevant passages with a detailed explaination, as we would find in any authentic Hindu text, in Sanskrit.
This entire effort seems to be focussed on regurgitating all the bile spewed by motivated Anglo-Saxon Christian Colonialists in the past 150 years.
An ad-verbatim reproduction of the muck floating on the net in various websites.
It is eminently clear the author never went beyond the "authentic" Euro-centric indology sources - library references, pamplets and sources like "idiots" guide on Hinduism written for practicing Christian Evangelists and such. Nor went beyond this biased literature to study Vedas or Upanishads from reputed Scholars. Nor bothered to understand the Purana's to really dig into timeline of India and Sanatana Dharma.
I bet he never chanted a single mantra, to experience the profound spiritual upliftment.
Truth is this Prof. M.M.Ninan is a Christian Theologist and a Bible thumper.
His motivation behind this steamy publication is evident. Just a cursory google of his name will reaveal all the crap that is being peddled on the internet and the effect this crap on gullible mind is anybody's guess.
Just another native coolie Christian Theologician's "objective" wet-dream to please his Church and score additional brownie point on his way to salvation.
"A detailed stuy.." - eh? *lol*
