There was a story told about a migration of a tribe, which was indeed an arduous journey.

The crew suffered from relentless natural disasters and lack of facilities. However, they had managed to come a long way thanks to a slave who always tried to keep everyone warm and nourished, heartened them by his songs and tales. One day, the slave disappeared. The crew got bewildered and soon became disoriented. It is drawn from the story that the role that the slave played is indispensable. His great care is the motivation which pushes the crew moving forward no matter what obstacle they confront. In my opinion, I believe that care, the considerateness is the x factor, the most important character of a leader. The history of the United States has seen many great presidencies with ingenious leadership that strengthen the country as the worlds most powerful nation. Victory of the American-Spanish war, negotiating an end to the Russo-Japanese War, completion of Panama Canal, establishment of numerous national parks to preserve the wildlife are what Theodore Roosevelt has accomplished during his presidency. These may be the reason he was carved in Mount Rushmore but what makes him extremely influential is his exuberant character. He is not only an honorary president but also a hero to his valet. A servant asked him how was a bob-white looked like, and later, she received a phone call. It was Roosevelt urging her to look out the window where she could see a bob-white. On another occasion, after his retirement, Roosevelt was invited to the White House by the staff. He called everyone by their first name, talked to them intimately. When he left, they give him a corn cake as a gift, which he sincerely treasured and told them he would recommend the dish to the contemporary president. When it comes to the image of a leader, noble and dictatorial may be the words of description. However, to my mind, a leader with casual, amicable image is always appealing. An outstanding leader is not a distinct but a cordial one who makes their inferiors feel at ease. Everyone wants to feel self-worth, so they tend to follow the lead of whom that fulfills their need. Speaking of this, we can see that by caring for his valet, even the odds and ends, Roosevelt endeared himself to them. When I was a little girl, a leader to me was no other than a king of a country. All I could imagine was the fancy, the power of him having the whole world in his hand. As I grow older, I came to realize the responsibilities leaders bore, awing at their talent to make excellent strategies and decisions. Now, when I put two and two together, it dawns on me that a successful leader is the one who wins peoples love and trust. Care for the others becomes the way develop myself, my personality, my point of view. The closer look I take at people around me, the more I recognize their own beauty and uniqueness. Then, I feel a sudden impulse to get to know them more, to sympathize with their situations. A bit of egomaniac is inevitable, but once I let it go, I have a better control of myself: I get on well with the others and be a part of them. It is great to be a harmonious cog in a wheel. In conclusion, considerateness is the glue that sticks people to each other. Having that glue, one will find no difficulty in moving the crowd, influencing people and leading them successfully.
