An effort to trace the history of theorizing ‘
International Relations’
, and itsstrong intellectual tradition, makes one encounter the fact that this traditionwas born with the formation of more than one society on the mother planetearth. Theorizing regionalism also has a long enough tradition, if not entirelysuccessful, pedigree. The only caution, before starting the journey further into the situation detailed is that theorizing about
‘Global Governance
should not confused with or misinterpreted as a near sibling o
International Relations’.
 The same is being said due to the fact that theorizing about
‘Global Governance
has been in vogue just from the time when
Cold Wa
stretched between the two power full nations of the world came to an end oran era when NATO nearly became irrelevant or redundant organization. Inother words the same may also be explained as a fashion whose birth couldbe traced to the
‘Post Cold War Era’
. It is the same era which might alsorefer to as the
‘Era of Globalization’
. The aim of this piece of write up is tocomprehend the sense contained in the ongoing discussion on
‘Global Governance’
, and simultaneously efforts will also be directed towardsexploring various recent developments and previous literatures present, soas to develop the capability to contribute in the ongoing discussion in aconstructive manner.In the Post Cold War Era or Era of Globalization, the birth of 
EuropeanUnion
has added some salt and spice in the boiling curry. Probably this alsoprovides the philosophers, scholars, teachers, practicetionors and lot othergroups interest in the phenomena. And added dimension for exploration. Thepresently prevailing & competing perspectives, for heuristic, [a commonsense rule (or set of rules) intended to increase the probability of solvingproblem], purpose have been classified as (1) American Exceptionlist; and(2) European pluralist. (i)Post World was II Era;(ii)Post Cold War Era;Somehow, one competitive perspective that failed continuously to getattention of concerned scholars was the “Emergence of Asian Giants”. Nowin context of the mentioned fact, now there emerge in all three distinctperspectives, as grouped below:(i)Post World was II Era;(ii)Post Cold War Era; and(iii)Emerging Asian Giants. Thus, the classification provided to competitive perspectives may includeone more branch in its domain. Now this inclusion will now make totalcompeting perspectives three in number, with short hand discipline as:[I] American Exceptionalist;[II] European Pluralist; and[III] Asian IntellectualsA brief discussion & deliberations on the events, from 1945 to till presenttime, i.e. 2009, becomes a must; before embarking on auspicious andambitious journey of getting to comprehend or contribute upon the issue of Birth of Global Governance and/or Death of Nationalism.
