Your testimonial for Amit For the ten EXACT days we were friends, I deserve this space on your yearbook page. ;-) Thank you for being such a good friend in those ten days that it took me no time to take us to the next level :-). Your wanting to do everything together with your 'new' friend to the over-protective ' beware of guys' warnings had me so much in awe that I do not remember when the friendship turned into something else..something that would come to change the very lives we led. Thank you so much for coming into my life honey. I could take this whole page up, but then a lot of people deserve the right to say a lot of good things. Love you. Forever. I would always remember him as a brother from another mother.. We've shared the best and the worst of moments in the 2 years at XL( "That" night in IIMC on the 26th Jan, 2013 when we on the top of the world and next day which was the exact opposite). We were each others Man Friday and if there was one person I could trust with handling ANY situation apart from myself, it has to be Purohit. He was the man who could get anything done at XL and was the sole reason for a lot of wonderful memories that others had cherished. Never one to shy away from taking responsibility or blame, he's taught me so many things I always wished to have but never realised existed. A simple, straightforward, no nonsense, responsible, committed person on whom you can always depend to deliver. He gives his 100% to everything he does( the only exception being his studies which are way down on his list of priorities). I was really fortunate to have you as a roomy and a friend here :) There are a few people about whom you know, who will make it big in life, and he sure is one of them.

How hard he's worked as Sportscom and for Valhalla, is something that only other people working with him know. I trust me there's not many people i would want to put above him on that list. We've shared the best of times together right from when we were Junior Sportscom days. Full of confidence, this guys is truly someone who you'd want to go for unbiased and honest advice. He likes doing things, getting things done, he's all about action. A true leader!! Wish the best in life for you brother. Cheers! Yaarr... Kya likhu..?? Jo b likhungi wo 'vomit inducing' hoga.. nai??!! Our interaction started wid u being a 'consistent starer' at my roomie.. Nd then i dn't noe how dis bond got stronger and stronger.. U have given me the privilege to b ur 'lil sis' and this was one of the most endearing moments of XL that i shall take forward. I guess there are a few ppl here who understand u but i can vouch for the fact u are just so 'perfect' ;) U were one person whom I trusted blindly and felt safe in ur hands.. The daaru nights, the leg pulling, the scoldings, the laughs, the joy, the sorrow, the fights, the tears, the conspiracies.... uff... so many memories!! Thanx bhai for all this.. I am sure our relation doesn't end here.. Infact therez all the more responsibility for us to not let go this remembrance.. It has to be our sportscom interview where he walked out of a GD in protest . While all others where sincerely trying to actually do a GD the cool boy declared the process is no criteria and he will be not part of such a GD. The Triple threat basketball match when i tried to tap the ball from your hand ....futile and a very silly attempt .."Humse nahi ho paya"

A lot of people make grand planes Purohit is one of the few who actually goes ahead to make sure some of them reach to fruition. A pillar and a leader and a really passionate guy he is one guy you know will deliver when the going gets tough. Though he loves to gas around and that he can do for hours :-p . Purohit , a real gentleman ensures you never get bored around when he is around, he makes every guy feel important. CEO material the boy does not like to mince his words. A maddy for food he knows the best joints around town with the discounts they offering. A true XLer at heart hope he goes on to achieve great success.. !! Sharaabi you`re the most resourceful person on campus ...Jugaadu (in a good way) youve been of great help a no. of times - Thankyou You`re finger movt (Na!No! style similiar to Sengus style ) and peculiar style of saying a few things (if u cn get what im talking about) has become a rage on campus. Your amazing sense of humour and self-confidence is commendable and sharaabi tu kuch bhi kar - "Tumse sab Ho Jayega" All the Best ! Keep in touch ! When 6 of us girls were given accommodation in GMP, away from the rest of the world he became our sole source of information about what actually went on in the hostels. He is an extremely resourceful person, which he proved when he was able to successfully extract the information regarding our placement offers from the very secretive controls team! Everytime I had cornetto, he had this habit of snatching away the last chocolate part (which has now instilled in me the fear of being deprived of the last bit everytime I have Cornetto). He has been extremely patient with me while trying to teach me TT, for which I'm very thankful :) Wish you all the best in all you do :) I can say just extremely good things about him....Extremely smart...extremely helpful...extremely good sense of humor...extremely patient....extremely sensible....extremely good mentor...extremely passionate sportsman There are two kind of relationships that I share with Amit. 1st is obviously friendship. 2ndI consider him as my mentor. He has been a mentor and a guide for me in the true sense. I've known him for just a few months now but still have learned a lot from this guy. I totally admire his way of dealing with issues and arriving at solutions.... I hope these two relations continue for ever and ever...wish you all the best in life....I'm certain you are destined for something huge....Having said that I hope you remain as grounded and as unpretentious as you are now :) Amit = A gallon full of red-bull. Never seen him short of energy. Always ready to run for work. "ho jayega", "kar dunga", "mujh pe chod de, i'll manage". Has the ability to pull things single handed. When he went to get petrol filled in my scooty and the scooty stopped midway... n he held on to an auto which dragged the scooty and him all the way to the petrol pump!

I hope you remember one of the SAC interviews we have had together where we got pissed with the unending gas of this guy and what happened afterwards:P:P

Well I got to know him very closely due to our association as SAC members. I can tell you one thing for sure that he plans things in great detail. He must be credited for the successful annual event that he has given to this college. He fought all odds to conduct the infamous IIMC-XL meet which revitalized the sentiments of not only our batch but XLers across generation. I wish you all success in life and may god be upon you. The daru parties at GMP, the way he saved us from lizards ;) and recently when I was talking on phone about TMH ( for Rachita) and he thought I am not well and he called me up all ready to take me to the hospital if needed..It was funny but it showed how much he cared all the same :)

Amit is the actual jack of all trades and yes he has that "Pied Piper" charm about him with which he can literally convince anyone about anything. Now when I look back at the two years in college..I see he has been on my side whenever I needed...a dependable brother who has scolded me when I am wrong, rejoiced on my victories ( the news about all shortlists in SIP, the committee selections etc...he knew them all before me) and given me support all along. I always felt protected under the shield of Purohit ki Sabha and I am sure everyone who has him as his friend feels the same...he is a friend whom you can depend upon for anything. I wish him all the luck for a bright future and stay in touch :)

Some people are blessed with a persona which rarely goes unnoticed.. Amit is definitely one of those people.. number of friends/fans/followers he has on campus vouches for that :) This guy knows how to stand by his friends through their thicks and thins...The passion and commitment with which he does things is really admirable .. be it organizing Valhalla or XL-IIMC meet. M sure you'll do great in life.. wish u all d very best :) Borrowing a line from the man himself "To be very honest and precise..", Purohit thinks in extremes...he doesn't seem to believe in grey or any of its shades...:-) be it a person or a TT shot..he is quick to recognize what works with him and what does not...He possesses a healthy competitive instinct stemming from his interest in sports....Amit, am sure you would do extremely well in your career...especially with sports out of the picture after XL..you'll only have your career to channel your energy into...:P ..Its been great knowing you and hopefully we'll be in touch even after XL....All the best for the future buddy!! Our meeting at a CCD in This guy can make friends quicker than I make Maggi. He does not waste time Jodhpur is yet to happen! So doing the preliminaries (ask Nidhi :P). A responsible guy with a good sense of I would reserve this section humor. Great to be around. for that meeting. :D Great leadership qualities amalgamates with style statements! There are things that he will leave behind at XLRI and he will be remembered for that. He drove Valhalla with passion from conceptualization to orchestration. And everything he did in SAC. Always a go-getter but in a 'take it easy' way. It is actually a Deadly combo and therefore he is a rare species. Height does matter. You will continue to prove it lifelong. I am absolutely sure about that. All the best for LIFE:) TT champ and Valhalla mastermind, Amit has been at the centre of a lot of activities on campus! We have shared a classroom for almost all the subjects (he was seen in very few though :p) and have dun ridiculously awsome last minute group submissions! He has taken onus upon himself for a lot of things ( mostly non- academic :p)..He has done well where his strengths lie (he did surprisingly well in the bhasad dance :p) and I wish him luck for the future :)

To me he is an extremely confident go-getter kind of a character. A very responsible & trustworthy friend who can be banked on any given day. Most of the time have seen him running around for his SAC, sports activities and I really like the way he is able to strike a balance between his duties and his likings:). Needless to say, one thing that will keep us connected apart from our XL parivar is Sachin Tendulkar :). Wishing you all the best and I am sure you will have a great life ahead. Keep rocking :) Amit! I can't imagine how i'd get my way out of issues here had you not been there.. Be it SIP or a simple headache, you'v been there to help us all! I literally was staring into blank space to narrow down to ONE incident! There have been way too many.. the parivaar sessions at Bishuda, watching federer win/lose( :( ), the wet-nights where you'd just be patrolling and refusing to dance, just about all the times we all hang out has been awesome fun :) :)

Mahna ki bezati as always! :P Amit - simply legendary when it comes to helping out people and just being there when needed. Been a major fan of his table tennis skills and hope to play like him someday. SIP placements - thanks to the gods of supreme courts would not have been possible without him being there (and also nidhi). Those jittery moments where we had no nails left were when we truly realized how awesome he is. No tension, no apprehension - only celebration. And I must mention it here - Shawaa bwoi.. c'mon.. shawaa miyaan! :) Cheers to you and hope you do well ahead! every time he compares his height with chhutki's Amit is a guy who you can approach for any issue in life and he makes your catastrophic look the most trivial and wishes it away. His sense of humour and fillers (by far the funniest in the history of funniest) keeps his audience captive and becomes viral in the campus. All in all I loved having known him.... Yaar senti cheeze karni aati toh hai nahi mujhe...but here it goes : I didn't know you well enough in Dubai.Even after getting admitted to XL I was hesitant in contacting you. Thank God you were'nt!! :p You have guided me at each and every step of my journey in XL, be it studies, sports, SIP or even food (wouldn't have found Bhatia milkshake without you :P). I remember that just before our SIP you had gone on a vacation. I remember getting frantic and saying to myself " Where is he when you actually need him" ( :p :p) . And as if on cue, you called me at that very moment, "Vermaji...ghabrana nahi...raat tak aa jaunga". Thats the kind of reassurance you have given me at every milestone here...and I'll miss having that around me next year. Thank you for being there whenever I needed you. Hope you do well in life ( I know you will :P :P) All the best :) The omnipresent guy in campus who can be spotted from far away! And once he asks you to do something.. you just cant refuse! He has helped me soooo many times that I have lost count. I have never had to worry about anything when he is around and I have a LOT to thank him for! I am going to miss you taking my case :O! Both of us getting overtly sentimental on the Cricket field ;). This one was pretty recent and Im sure you remember it too! Hope I can take the liberty to categorize it as 'funny'. I guess both of us have been at the receiving end of each others' tempers on quite a few occasions! I can say I enjoyed it in a way because I know for a fact that I'm not this animated discussing things with many people. Im sure you'll pardon the impertinence!

I've seen no one taking charge, doing and getting things done the way you do and I guess I'd want to remember you for that! All said and done, organizing Valhalla was never going to be easy. The very fact that it happened is testimony to your effort and commitment! Cheers to that and everything else we discussed, argued, worked for and against together ;) Best wishes!
