needed to copy a 35Gb folder from an external hdd to a networked westernDigital terabyte. os x kept failing to copy at about the 14Gb mark. i used the 'ditto' command, verbose mode, so i can see the progress in the terminal. started it last night and this morning it's still copying my files over. so far so good. thanks for the doc. peace.
