Please SAVE often!!Let’s get started
Open your scrap kit and supplies and have ready.Save your mask into your mask folder before starting on your tag. Usually your folder would be located under your C drive/Programs/Corel/PaintShopPro/Masks.Download the font into your windows/font folder. Now open up your Corel Paint Shop Program.Open a new transparent 850x850 layer, flood fill white.Create a new raster layer and flood fill with a paper of choice from the kit.I used: SkyScraps-Halloween-pp2 Now apply the EEMask10~Flirty with these settings:2
Right Click and merge group.Copy and paste as a new layer a frame from the kit. I used a wicked one called:SkyScraps-Halloween-Frame4.Copy and paste the SkyScraps-Halloween-PaperElement1 from the kit.Top tool bar-Image-Free Rotate-25 degrees to the right-Unselect the check box for-alllayer-Ok. Now colorize. Top tool bar-Adjust-Hue & Saturation-Colorize-Hue settings:20-Saturation Settings: 194-Ok. Add a drop shadow. Rename this layer as Paper for later if you would like to add the animation.Open up the tree from kit: SkyScraps-Halloween-Tree. Paste as a new layer and move tothe left of the frame. Make sure this layer is dragged beneath your frame layer but aboveyour paper layer.Open up a castle from the kit, I used: SkyScraps-Halloween-ShroomCastle2.Drag this layer beneath your frame layer but above your paper element and center it inthe middle of the frame. See mine to reference.Open up a critter from the kit, I used: SkyScraps-Halloween-BarnOwl. Resized by 30%and paste as a new layer.Move this owl layer above your tree layer and position on the tree to the left. Now copy and paste as a new layer the adorable little pumpkin carriage from the kit:SkyScraps-Halloween-Element8, move to the bottom right of your tag. Drag this layer allthe way to the top. See mine to reference. Now resize your animation by 80%-All layers. Crop to each edge to remove any left over jaggies.Open up your tube of choice. I used an Elias tube. Copy and paste as a new layer. Movethis layer all the way to the top of all your layers.Copy and Paste my word art (if you want to use it, I liked it better without) that I provided in the supplies as a new layer.Resize by 55%. Sharpen Once. Position at the top.Add your name to the tag on the left side.I used font: A&S Signwriter, size 24, foreground color code: #fbf8b1 and backgroundcolor the same paper as used for the mask: SkyScraps-Halloween-pp2This has a gradient glow using Eye Candy 4000. Top Tool bar-Effects-EyeCandy400-Gradient Glow-Glow Width 3- Soft Corners 25-Overall Opacity 100 and the Draw OnlyOutside Selection is checked-Color diffuse, an Orange color, I used Color Code:#ce6d1b-Ok. You can add this same glow to the word art if you like.Add your drop shadows.3
