Barclays has had a presence in Egypt since 1864 and now servesapproximately 100,000 customers across the country through anetwork of more than 60 branches and 93 ATMs.The business has seen rapid market share growth in recent years,having launched a range of successful retail and commercial banking products. Barclays is now Egypt’s number one issuer of credit cards and is among the country’s leading providers of car loans.Barclays was the first bank in Egypt to offer comprehensive banking for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). AndBarclays Egypt was also the country’s first bank to offer a rangeof Standard, Prestige and Premier Services to its retail account-holders

In Egypt, Barclays offers:
Retail banking: everyday personal banking, plus Prestigeand Premier Services. Barclays Egypt is also the country’sleading car loan provider
