Renewed Programme for Government10 October 2009

Preface
Fianna Fáil and the Green Party have worked well together over thepast two years providing good government for the country during aperiod of unprecedented global economic turmoil. We are now publishing the results of our Review of the Programmefor Government. Our initial Programme for Government made clear that its deliverywas based on a growth rate of 4.5%. It was negotiated prior to theworst global downturn since the 1930s. Our review is about ensuringthe Programme for Government reflects current economic realities.Achievement of the goals set out in both documents, subject toresources, will provide the political basis of Government action, untilwe complete our term in 2012. ____________________ __________________ Brian Cowen T.D .
