March 15, 2006Mr. Kimo CrossmanTransmitted via emailMr. Crossman:This correspondence acknowledges one additional public records request you made to the Officeof the City Attorney for all “email and printed communications and electronic or printeddocuments…for the period of 2005-07-01 thru 2006-03-02 involving the ‘Friends of theLibrary.’” As I have informed you on numerous occasions, public records requests for records inthe possession of this office should be directed to me to facilitate our ability to coordinate our responses in good faith. Now that I am aware of that email to which I was not an originalrecipient, I wish to enumerate the Sunshine requests currently pending before this office:1. A request for “all communications on Sunshine related matters that the [CityAttorney’s Office] has been involved with from 10/1/2005 thru 3/6/2006.”2. A request for “all policies, rulings, advice, opinions etc used by the [City Attorney’sOffice] for Conflict of Interest matters as well as use of Outside Counsel.”3. A request for “all communications on Sunshine related matters that the [CityAttorney’s Office] has been involved with from 2006-03-06 thru 2006-03-08,” whichyou expanded this afternoon to include “thru 2005-03-14” (tomorrow).4. A request for “all drafts of the 2005 and 2006 Good Government Guide it’s [sic]supplemental documents and other Sunshine Annual training materials which are notcurrently posted online.”5. A request for a particular deputy’s “2005 good government guide with anyannotations, revisions or supplements.”6. A request for all “email and printed communications and electronic or printeddocuments…for the period of 2005-07-01 thru 2006-03-02 involving the ‘Friends of the Library.’”Apart from the requests enumerated above, I will inform you once again in response to your continuing emails that all of the other requests you have submitted to this office have beenfulfilled to the extent the law requires.
