5. Possible squads
Test players
Players in the Wallabies squad wont be available to play in the NRC competition in most cases. They are still assigned to teams but are not counted toward the player cap. For this exercise, the Wallabies squad is assumed to be the following:

Australia: 31 (10 Brumbies, 10 Waratahs, 6 Reds, 1 Rebels, 2 Force)

Note: Selections are nominal only. Minor changes wont significantly affect the NRC.

5.1 Reds distribution (32 players released, 3 to be added)

This is the most straightforward case. The players are split roughly equally into two camps. Those with Country backgrounds or from the Gold Coast or Southside are prioritised toward Queensland CountryGold Coast. No players need to relocate. Note that these selections are nominal only to show how the squads might appear.

Brisbane: 13 (12 + 1 exempt) + 3 Wallabies.
