Academic Progress
DeVry has established standards of academic progress as an integral part of its goal to fosterstudent success. Each student must demonstrate satisfactory academic progress towardsgraduation from their program of study. DeVry uses qualitative standards including grade pointaverages, grades, and academic performance, and quantitative standards including rate ofprogress (credits attempted versus credits earned). As well as, the student must meet bothqualitative and quantitative standards in order to demonstrate satisfactory academic progress. Astudent who does not meet these standards in one or more areas is subject to academicprobation and/or dismissal.
Attendance and Make-up Policies

Each student is expected to participate in the classes in which he or she is enrolled. Participationis an important component of grading. Failure to enter a course during the first two weeks ofattendance will cause a student to be dropped from the course.
