Dealing with Wedding Stress Throughout history, planning a wedding has been a constant struggle that has trouble brides for hundreds of years. Some brides will survive the struggle, but just barely. Andthere are other brides that crumble under enormous pressure and take loved ones withthem. The journey to a successful wedding must pass through the obstacles of the vastunknown. What are these unknown things which make your Grandmother want to punchsomeone in the eye? We call these and other things “Bridal Wars”. When the engaged couple finally announced their wedding plans to everyone, the doctorscalled what happened next as the two-cent effect. The two-cent effect is when the brideand groom get advice and suggestions from everyone, no matter what even if they are noteven asking for it. The thing is that no matter how annoying or well-meaning these people are, you cannot just bring yourself to tell them “This is my wedding and I will run it the way I want to.”That is how the opinion effect can give those unwanted stress for your wedding. The bride may have to remind constantly of the groom’scommitment. Making a list of things to do is very helpful such as when tohave a taste sample for the cakes or look for the right bridesmaids gifts for the  bridesmaids. Not many people believe in what a list can do, but the truth is the making ato-do list actually helps lessen future problems. Plus you can always refer to it whenever  people want to suggest something. The list should only be for the bride, but also a listshould be for the groom as well. That way, the groom can also have some piece of theaction as well. Another way to avoid wedding stress is by planning for a small wedding. The bigger thewedding the more wedding details need to be made. And if you plan a bigger wedding, it
