Glad to see I'm not the only one. I like to think that the eyerolling is my daughter's way of saying, "I get it Dad".

Very realistic. Being a chemistry professor myself, I often feel that most others including my family feel the same way when they talk to me.

She's a genius in the making; you know that, don't you?

I can only imagine the questions she will be asking in about 20 years.

This was funny. My son is 16mths now and I can only imagine the questions he will ask once he can...if he's anything like his Engineer dad, I'm scared!!

This is hilarious.. it's the sort of things my students always ask when we are studying science. The correct question is always why...

Yes, it can be dangerous for both the dad and the sons. While I was reading this dialouge, first I took a pity at Sarah and at the end of the dialogue, I took a pity at her dad too.

Very amusing! I might be thinking of why oxygen is more electronegative than carbon and hydrogen when I shower today!

Thanks for making me laugh!

Loved this, thanks. I'm sure it's a good way to cut down on all the "why" questions you get from this age group.
