BMO'S ADVENTURE TIME

FADE IN: INT. FINN AND JAKES HOME - DAY BMO stands on a windowsill and watches his two best friends, FINN and JAKE, battle a large, anteater like creature with a enormous shell. CUT TO: EXT. HILLSIDE - DAY JAKE Grab my butt bro! Jake stretches out his butt to swing Finn around to the back of the creature. FINN Which part! JAKE Is it big enough? Finn gets swung around on Jakes butt and slides underneath the monsters shell. FINN Yeah! Im gonna climb inside of you aardvark! JAKE Its like an anteater! FINN Same thing. JAKE Thats insensitive bro! Not cool! The creature takes a swipe at Jake with his tongue, but misses and damages a large portion of the hillside. JAKE (CONTD) Aww, man! Hes bringing down the property value. Finn climbs his way to the top of the creatures back. FINN Just like Im going to do his face!

JAKE How will that fix things? BMO imagines fighting the creature himself, imitating the movements of his friends as he wages war against his imaginary foe. BMO You think your tongue can stop me! Hiya! I am robot boyee. Nothing can stop this machine built for destruction. He chops at the air one final time before sighing heavily and retiring to the edge of the windowsill. BMO (CONTD) Why was I made so adorable? He sits there a moment before his head pops up exuberantly, and he jumps to his feet. BMO (CONTD) I know! BMO hops off of the windowsill and looks around for a weapon. He grabs a kitchen spoon and whacks it against a counter to test its strength. It snaps in two and he nervously hides both parts. He surveys the room and his eyes land on an open notebook with heavy paper. BMO (CONTD) Paper doesnt break. BMO takes out several pieces of paper and folds them, fashioning a sword larger than himself. BMO (CONTD) Nobody can withstand the sword of a thousand papercuts! CUT TO: EXT. HILLSIDE - DAY BMO walks past Finn and Jake who are both still struggling with the giant creature.

FINN BMO! How about some help! BMO Sorry guys! Off to do hero stuff! Finn, Jake and the monster look at one another in confusion as BMO continues on his way. JAKE (to himself) Well Ill be. The anteater attacks him when hes distracted. JAKE (CONTD) Cheater! CUT TO: INT. FOREST - DAY BMO enters the forest at its edge with an alertness to potential dangers. Birds and other animals skitter around him as he swings his sword in their direction the moment he hears them. BMO Calm down BMO. Heroes dont freak out. A large, monstrous JERRY comes charging out of the trees into the clearing in front of BMO. BMO (CONTD) Ah! JERRY Ah! BMO Ah! Jerry and BMO stare at one another for a second. BMO notices the purse the creature is carrying. JERRY (uncertain how to react) Um. Ah! BMO Why are we still screaming!

JERRY I dont know, you started it. Anyway, I need to get back to stealing this purse. BMO Oh. I thought that was a lifestyle choice. JERRY Nope! See ya sucker! Jerry shoves BMO to the ground and runs away, but BMOs leg gets caught in the strap of the purse and he is being dragged along the trail. BMO thinks back to the way Finn and Jake were fighting the anteater creature earlier. JAKE (V.O.) Grab my butt bro! BMO His butt! JERRY What! Youre still here? Stay away from my butt! BMO catches the purse with the handle of his sword and uses it to climb up onto the thieves arm. JERRY (CONTD) Get off! JAKE (V.O.) Climb inside that aardvark! BMO I will climb inside of you! A look of sheer terror overtakes Jerry and he begins to freak out. JERRY Youll what! No! Please, I just need to feed my babies! They eat money. BMO finally gets to the top of Jerrys back, and brings his paper sword up. He presses its edge underneath Jerrys armpit.

BMO Do you feel that? JERRY What...what are you doing? Jerry stops running. BMO If you keep running and pumping your arms, you are done. If you throw me off, you are done. This sword will slide down with me and you will know the pain of a thousand paper cuts! JERRY Who are you man! BMO I am not man! I am BMO! JERRY What do you want? Jerry is visibly shaken. BMO I want to rid the land of evildoers. You are an evildoer. JERRY Oh, no. BMO No? JERRY I mean, kind of, but Im more like a bad-doer. An evil doer is somebody that steals from old ladies. BMO Didnt you steal that from an old lady? Jerrys eyes dart back and forth as he realizes he has outed himself as evil, by his definition. JERRY An evil doer is someone that steals princesses! Did you know the Ice King does that?

BMO Hes old news buddy. Now hes just sad. JERRY Okay, but hes got a princess with him right now! BMO I dont believe it. JERRY Gunter told me himself! The King is really, really twisted. Even Gunter doesnt know whats going on. BMO Boy. That must be bad. JERRY Yeah. So why dont you let me go and stop the real villain? BMO How do I know I can trust you? JERRY Im a thief, not a liar! BMO Youre toast if youre playing with me hombre. BMO leans in very close and whispers in Jerrys ear. BMO (CONTD) Paper. Cut. JERRY Ill take you there myself! BMO climbs up and sits on Jerrys shoulder. They begin their journey to the Ice Kings kingdom. BMO Okay. But if youre lyingJERRY A thousand papercuts. BMO Put me in the purse.

JERRY Why? BMO I didnt ask why you were carrying it, did I? Jerry places BMO inside of the purse. BMO (CONTD) Thats more like it. Lets go save a princess! JERRY The Ice King really needs a hobby. BMO Dont we all. CUT TO: EXT. ICE KINGS KINGDOM - DAY GUNTER is making snow angels and building snowmen in ICE KINGS likeness and kicking them back down. BMO spots Gunter as he and Jerry approach. BMO Here is where mad ninja skills come into play. We need to be quiet orJERRY Gunter! Hey Gunter! BMO What are you doing? Jerry runs over to his friend who is lying in the snow and angrily staring up into emptiness. GUNTER Quack! JERRY Hey, so, uh, that thing you told me about the Ice King earlier... GUNTER Quack! Quack!

JERRY Simon. Yeah were not that close. Anyway, could you repeat it? I totally forgot. Gunter gets up angrily and begins imitating the Ice King. BMO Where did he find a princess? Gunter shrugs his shoulders. He waves his hand in front of his face while pointing to the castle and shakes his head. He scrunches his face, and pretends to pass out in fear. JERRY Sounds like hes found himself a keeper! So, uh, are we good? BMO Yes. Youve kept your word. JERRY Alright! Jerry tries to lift BMO out of the purse but he refuses. BMO But I keep the purse! JERRY Right. The ladys purse. Oh well. He places both BMO and the purse on the ground. BMO crawls out of it and straps it to his shoulder. BMO Oh yeah, the lady. Who did you get it from again? Jerry is halfway in the forest by this point and yelling back to BMO. JERRY Some old lady over there! BMO Be good or Ill find you! JERRY Ill never sleep again! BMO circles Gunter, his sword drawn and the purse strapped tightly to his back.

BMO I guess this is the part where we fight! GUNTER Quack! BMO Why? I thought you love him. GUNTER Quack quack! BMO lowers his weapon and approaches Gunter to give him a hug. BMO Oh man. Thats cold, brotha. Show me how to get in. Gunter leads BMO to the main door of the castle and pushes it open. BMO (CONTD) Thats bad security. GUNTER Quack. BMO Not even a little bit. CUT TO: INT. ICE KINGS CASTLE - DAY BMO spots the Ice King at a table in another room, with his back to him, speaking to someone that is out of his line of vision. BMO Get behind me. Gunter begins creeping with BMO slowly, but his stealth quickly turns into rage as he breaks out into a sprint and goes to attack the Ice King from behind. GUNTER Quack! BMO Oh boy.

BMO shrugs his shoulders and follows Gunters lead. They reach the Ice King and attack him from behind, but their attacks have little effect on him. He gets up from his chair to figure out whats going on. ICE KING Hey! That kind of hurts! My feelings mostly. What are you doing! GUNTER Quack! Quack! ICE KING Its my bed! Every side is mine! Gunter points to FRUIT PRINCESS sitting across the table. Her face is a frightening and angry mix of fruits. GUNTER Quack! ICE KING I told you! Shes allergic. And what are you doing here? Gunter shakes his head in disgust and walks off. BMO Im saving the princess! FRUIT PRINCESS Excuse me? I can save myself. Ice King rolls his eyes. ICE KING Oh not this again. BMO continues attacking the Ice King but hes growing tired, and noticeably disappointed in his efforts to bring him down. ICE KING (CONTD) Didnt you have a sword? BMO (exhausted) I can do this...without it... ICE KING I dont know about that.

BMO The sword of a thousand papercuts is much too deadly. ICE KING A thousand what? Dear lord. Keep that thing away from me. BMOs arms begin giving out and Ice King takes pity on him. ICE KING (CONTD) Ow. Ooh. It hurts. Stop it. Seriously you can stop. Ice King shakes his head as BMO continues wailing on his legs. His disposition is immediately changed when he looks up and notices an angry Gunter holding the paper sword. Gunter drags it along the ground and the sharp paper cuts unnaturally deep into the floor of the castle. ICE KING (CONTD) Gunter! Bad Gunter! (to BMO) Okay, the princess is yours! You can have her. FRUIT PRINCESS They can what! Excuse me! ICE KING I was already waiting for one of my bros to come and get me out of this. Oh the talking! Gunts I kept giving you the signal! Whos allergic to penguins! Nobody! BMO Yay! I saved her! ICE KING (to himself) Ice King is his own man. Aint nobodys teddy bear. Im a lion. (to Gunter) Come ere Gunts! Gunter throws the sword, and runs over to high five BMO before giving Ice King a hug. ICE KING (CONTD) (to BMO) Thanks for helping me see the error of my ways. Can you bake pies?

BMO Why is she holding the sword? Gunter runs out of the castle. ICE KING Coward! FADE OUT.
