Theamountofvoltagepresentisoftenthebiggestfactortoconsiderwhendealingwithshock andarcflash. Ifseveralthousandvoltsarepresent,theresistanceofthebodywillhavelittleeffectonthe amountofcurrentflowingthroughthebody.Thecurrentwillbeenoughtoshockorkillyouno matterwhat. Inthefirstexample,noticethatwithahighenoughvoltage,even1000ohmsworthof resistancewillstillbeenoughtoshockandinjureyou.
