automatisation of banking sector brings to revolutionary creation of banking innovations, i.e.wide range of new products and services which are directly accessible to clients. Implementation of the latest achievements of Information, computer and telecommunicationtechnologies to information banking systems caused application of modern payment systems, starting with self-servicing banking (ATMs, telephone, on-line, off-line, self-servicing counters, commerce transactions, domestic and international banking), Internet and mobiletelephone networks. Revolutionary and global informative-technological development directly innovated new mode of banking business, which effected the actual changes inbanking, those are first among others could be seen in totally new business philosophies,which are the bases for modern strategic philosophy supply of new banking products and services which are called self-servicing banking. This paper gives the opinions and scores of present condition banking sector as well as perspectives of development self-banking sector in Republic of Serbia. Results of research in this paper implies that implementation of self- servicing banking into banking system of Serbia, by its range of products does not slow downcompared to developed countries. At last, this paper shows services of self-banking system inSerbian banks, based on empirical research in general. Therefore banks continue to have theclient as the main focus of their interest, client’s needs and preferences, but also keeping inmind the growing competition and globalization of banking business.

Uvod
Megatrendovi na globalnom nivou, u razvoju informaciono-tehnoloških ikomunikacionih inovacija, sa tendencijom daljeg turbulentnog napretka, političke,ekonomske i demografske promene, kao i promene unutar samog finansijskog sektora,uslovili su u poslednjih petnaestak godina, brojne i revolucionarne promene u bankarskomsektoru. Tehnologizacija i automatizacija bankarskog sektora implicirali su, pored navedenih promena, kreiranje niza revolucionarnih bankarskih inovacija, odnosno, širok asortimannovih bankarskih proizvoda i usluga u čijem fokusu interesovanja su potrebe klijenata.Implementacija najnovijih dostignuća informatičko-kompjuterske itelekomunikacione tehnologije u informacione sisteme banaka, kao i promene u makro imikro okruženju, uslovili su aplikaciju jednog novog sistema, savremenog i modernog oblika plaćanja, kako u razvijenim tako i u zemljama u tranziciji. On se počeo razvijati tokomdevedesetih godina prošlog veka, sa trendom daljeg razvoja, i poznat je kao samouslužno bankarstvo.Pojam samouslužnog bankarstva znači korišćenje tehnoloških inovacija i rešenja u bankarskom sektoru, koji omogućava, za razliku od tradicionalnog bankarstva, da korisnici,odnosno klijenti, van vremenskih i prostornih granica, samostalno, uz pomoć računskemreže obavljaju novčane transakcije, novim distribucijskim kanalima. Najrasprostranjenije suusluge samouslužnog bankarstva, usluge bankomata, EFTOPS, bankomat-menjačnice, zatimTelebanking, Home Banking, Internet Banking, Mobtel-banking-usluge SMS, Mpau i slično.
