Why Intern Abroad?
If you are like many college students, you face a dilemma. You would love
to study abroad, but you also need a good internship - and time is short!

The Washington Center’s Intern Abroad Programs may be the answer,


allowing you to combine study abroad and an internship into a single
semester or summer term.

Guaranteed Housing
While in D.C. you will live in a fully-furnished, metro-accessible apartment with other
Washington Center interns. Once you travel to your destination city, you will live in a
fully-furnished apartment or dormitory - with other Washington Center interns and/or
with other students from around the world.

Application Requirements
• GPA of 2.75 or higher (The Washington, D.C.-Oxford
program has a minimum GPA of 3.25)
• Second-semester sophomore or higher
• Academic credit from your college or university for
participating in our program
• Liaison/campus sponsor approval
• Ability to obtain a student visa for the destination

• Recent graduates are welcome to participate in our
program in Sydney, Australia (no liaison approval
or credit required), and will attend the seminar,
internship and experiential learning course only.
