Juliet Christian Academy Annual Extravaganza, sponsored by the PTO, will be from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Friday, November 6. This event is free and open to the public. Located
in the gymnasium at MJCA, 735 N. Mount Juliet Road, we will have 50+ vendors selling a variety of specialty items all day. There will be a silent auction with bidding all day, ending at 8
pm plus a live auction at 7 p.m. We will also have kids\u2019 games & activities from 5 - 8 pm. MJCA - serving the community through service and education for 30 years.
The Wilson Central High School National Honor Society will host a yard sale on Saturday, November 7, from 6:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Gladeville Community Center to bene\ufb01 t the WCHS Benevolence Fund. This fund provides for students whose basic needs are not being met at home. Students in need are given food, clothing, toiletries, gas cars, and many other items
that they need to survive. Though they may never want to admit it, there are students in our classrooms every day who don\u2019t have these things at home.
Over fall break, clean out those closets and garages for donations to the yard sale. The NHS will be accepting donations beginning October 26 at Wilson Central High School, including anything (clothing, furniture, still- working electronics, shoes, toys, baby items, bicycles, odds and ends, etc.) Of course, you\u2019ll want to stop
you arrive at WCHS, please check in at the front of\ufb01 ce, and they will contact Carrie Tinsley (NHS advisor) or Diane Hale (school nurse). Students will help put your things where they will be stored until the big day. A Hometown Village Craft Fair and Bake Sale to bene\ufb01t the Mt. Juliet Senior Citizens Center will be held on Saturday, November 21, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at West Wilson Middle School, located at 935 N. Mt. Juliet Road. Set sail for a seafaring adventure this Halloween as the Nashville Symphony encounters pirates, stormy weather and hungry sharks lurking beneath the ocean waves with Halloween on the High Seas, Saturday, October 31, at 11 a.m. at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Your soundtrack will be music from Pirates of the Caribbean and other nautical favorites. Student dancers from the School of Nashville Ballet will climb aboard to help navigate the treacherous waters until at last the conductor shouts, \u201cLand ho!\u201d For more information or to purchase tickets visit
Encore Theatre Company presents Night Watch, directed by John Davis. Ellen Wheeler, a wealthy woman recovering from a nervous breakdown has trouble sleeping. As she paces in her Manhattan townhouse in the middle of the night, she sees (or believes she sees) a dead man in the window across the way. Police \ufb01 nd no trace of a body, and when Ellen sees another body a short time later, police ignore her and her husband wants her to commit herself to a treatment facility. Things move fast from this point on, toward the chilling climax of this suspenseful mystery. For the 22nd year in a row, rows and rows of antique cars from miles around will provide one of the highlights of Oktoberfest at Wilson Bank & Trust.
Oktoberfest Antique Car Show, scheduled for Sunday, October 18, is part of a full weekend of free family fun at Oktoberfest. The event takes place on the grounds of the WB&T Main Of\ufb01 ce at 623 West Main Street in Lebanon.
The car show will offer 51 potential classi\ufb01 cations, with special awards in the following categories: President\u2019s Choice, Most Miles Driven to Show, Best of Show/Stock and Best of Show/Modi\ufb01 ed. Registration will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and awards will be presented at 3:30 p.m.
