Sastry Karras Astrological Series Prediction Summary

Please note that these are just my predictions up to the best of my knowledge. Please use this article for educational purposes only. Based on various methodologies used for prediction, here is the summary: Between April-2014 and August-2014, the Vimsottari dasa is Sun/Ketu. Ketus aspect on Malefic planets and its residence in house owned by Mars, the 7th house impact will be heavily noticeable which includes: Foreign Relations, Crimes against women, International disputes and War (possibility). Between August-2014 and August-2015, the Vimsottari dasa is Sun/Venus. For the country, 9th house deals with Law and Courts. Thus, during this period, the country will be indulged in Legal battles. These legal battles were the continuation of the disputes that were started during Sun/Ketu period. Between Aug-2014 and March-2015, according to Dasapathi & Antardasapathi calculations, the Country will face tough situations pertaining to Crimes, public health and Revenues. Remember, according to Vimsottari Das, this period is predicted for Legal battles.

Between June-2014 and Dec-2014, transit Jupiter and transit Saturn are both exalted. Before 2014-Aug, the country will face with hurdles pertaining to Hospitals, prisons, asylums, temples, crimes, investigation department. Between 2014-Aug and 2015-Aug (especially before 2014-Dec), the Country will see One of its WORST Cabinet ruling. Donot get surprised even if the Cabinet gets dissolved. Before 2015-Aug, the biggest negative impact will be on Education, games and sports, Entertainment industry. Between Sep-25-2014 and Oct-18-2014, the 5th(Education, games and sports, Entertainment industry) house gets further impacted very badly, it must be something dealing with public health.

Between Oct-18-2014 and Nov-11-2014, the Country will face some of the worst days pertaining to Diseases & Public health, Military, Hospitals, Crimes.

About myself

Natal Chart Analysis

With the birth details available, let us first look at which planets will have high influence on the Country. Mercury, Venus and Saturn are all residing in Enemys house while Sun is residing in Friends house. Also, Mercury, Venus and Saturn are all Combust.

Graha Yuddha (Planetary War):

Using the basics of Graha Yudha, the chorology of the planets that influence the chart will be determined. Both the Primary and Secondary decision makers are residing in Enemys house.

1: If Saturn is cojoined with any Planet, Saturn wins most. Here Saturn is in 3rd house and cojoined with Sun, Moon, Mercury & Venus. Thus Saturn (lord of 9th and 10th houses) is the winner and the Primary decision maker.

2: Venus wins over Mercury or Mars. Here Venus is cojoined with Mercury. Thus Venus (lord of 1st and 6th house) is the next decision maker.

Lord Analysis :
Using the planets inclination, their kakshyas lord is calculated.

There is a clear indication that Jupiter (lord of 8th and 11th houses) plays a silent role on the natives chart.

Nakshatra and its Characteristic Analysis :

Using the planets Nakshatra, their characteristics are analyzed, especially the primary & secondary decision maker and the current Mahadasa planet (Sun). Both Saturn & Venus are residing in Ashleshya Nakshatra, its ruler being Mercury. The Janma Nakshatra is Pushya and Saturn is the Owner. Thus once again Saturn became the dominant ruler while analyzing from Nakshatra positions.

Jupiter a Malefic, the next silent player is residing in nakshatra that it owns. Thus, Jupiter strength got further increased and hence all the planets residing in its Kakshya follow his directions.

Venus a Malefic is residing in Nakshatra owned by Mercury. In the Graha Yudha, Venus won over Mercury, thus Mercury became powerless while controlling Venus. Venus will now follow the directions from Saturn since it lost the Graha Yudha with Saturn.

Finally, the one-and-only-one planet that controls the whole chart is Saturn.

House Lord Analysis :

Using the natal chart, it is clear that Venus (secondary decision maker) who is lord of 1st & 6th houses is a Malefic. To add to this, the lord of Kyshya for most planets is Jupiter (who is lord of 8th and 11th houses) is also a Malefic.

Thus, for the native (Republic of India), the impact on 6th, 8th and 11th houses will always be negative and disturbing. This impact will be noticeable either during their dasa/antardasa/pratyantardasa periods and more if the transit planets are in their respective houses.

Planet Intervention (Graha Argala) Analysis :
According to the natal chart, the current Vimsottari Dasa is Sun.

During the Argala period, Sun blocks the effects of the house and it will be easily noticeable during the planets antardasa residing in that house. The Argala effects for Sun is as follows:

Thus during Sun/Jupiter period the impact of Sun will be easily visible on 4th house. During Sun/Rahu the impact is visible on 11th house and during Sun/Ketu on 5th house. Sun/Ketu period begins in April 2014 and ends in Aug 2014.

Let us analyze the Graha Argala effects during this period. Sun lord of 4th house a Benefic is residing in 3rd house and cojoined with Moon, Mercury, Venus & Saturn. Sun is residing in Nakshatra owned by Mercury and is a Sampatha Nakshatra w.r.t Janma Nakshatra. So, Sun mahadasa is always a bright one for the Republic of India (Remember, after 2009, India was labeled as Emerging Nation and started having a presence in International Community. Because it lost the Graha Yudha with Saturn, not much could be achieved).

Ketu residing in 7th house is getting direct aspect only from Rahu. Ketu is aspecting 3rd and 11th house along with the 7th house. Thus Ketu is aspecting Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus & Saturn. Because of its aspect on Malefic planets and its residence in house owned by Mars, the 7th house impact will be heavily noticeable which includes: Foreign Relations, Crimes against women, International disputes and War (possibility).

Vimsottari Planetary Dasa Analysis :

The above analysis is for Sun/Ketu Vimsottari dasa. The next Vimsottari dasa is Sun/Venus which ends in 2015-Aug. Venus a Malefic, and lord of 1st and 6th houses and is the secondary decision maker in the chart, will be cojoined with Transit Jupiter during this period and Natal Jupiter is residing in Venuss house. Venuss 7th aspect is on 9th house and it is

cojoined with its lord and lost the war with 9th house lord (Saturn). For the country, 9th house deals with Law and Courts. Thus, during this period, the country will be

indulged in Legal battles. These legal battles were the continuation of the disputes that were started during Sun/Ketu period.

Kalachakra Planetary Dasa Analysis :

According to Kalachakra Planetary dasa, Venus Dasa begins on: 2014-Aug-15 and ends on: 2030-Aug-15. The Antardasa is Venus/Venus which ends in 2017-March-5. Thus the vimsottari dasa of Sun/Venus effects gets further amplified.

Dasapathi & Antardasapathi Dasa Analysis :

According to Dasapathi & Antardasapathi calculations, Moon balance period

According Venus a Malefic and secondary decision maker is residing in house

owned by Moon. Moon being weakened by cojoining with Saturn, is himself a Malefic and residing in a house whose Karak is Mars (lord of 7th and 12th houses). Mars is residing in 2nd house. For a country, 2nd house deals with Revenues and 12th house deals with Crimes, Hospitals etc. During Moon/Venus period, due to malefic nature of Venus (lord of 6th house Public Health), the Country will face tough situations pertaining to Crimes, public health and Revenues. Remember, according to Vimsottari Dasa, this period is predicted for legal battles.

Slow Planetary Cycle Analysis :

Slow planetary cycle for Jupiter, Saturn and Rahu are considered. The slow planets positions are based on their cycle periods.

For Jupiter:

Between 2013-8-15 and 2014-8-15, Jupiter Cycle will impact 12 th house from Lagna.

Between 2014-8-15 and 2015-8-15, Jupiter Cycle will impact 1st house from Lagna.

Natal Jupiter a Malefic, is in 6th house, and will be cojoining with transit exalted Saturn until Dec-2014. Both Natal Jupiter and transit Saturn are having a

direct aspect on 12th house. During the cycle period, before 2014-Aug, Jupiter will impact the 12th house. Thus the 12th house got fully afflicted and its impact will be easily noticeable. Thus before 2014-Aug, the country will face with hurdles pertaining to Hospitals, prisons, asylums, temples, crimes, investigation department. Already, the citizens of India are noticing the malefic effects.

After 2014-Aug, Jupiters impact will be on 1st house owned by Malefic Venus and Rahu is residing there. For a country, 1st house deals with Condition of a cabinet. With Rahu being residing, Malefic Jupiter & Venus having impact on the house, between 2014-Aug and 2015-Aug, the Country will see one of its worst cabinet ruling. Donot get surprised even if the Cabinet gets dissolved.

For Saturn:
Between 2012-8-15 and 2015-2-15, Saturns Cycle impact will be on 5th house from Lagna.

Natal Saturn a Neutral, is in 3rd house, and will be cojoining with transit exalted Jupiter until June-2015. Both Natal Saturn and transit Jupiter are having a direct aspect on 9th house. Natal Saturns 3rd aspect is already on 5th house. During the cycle period, Saturns impact on 5th house will be further amplified. By summarizing the above chart,

Mercury will cojoin Jupiter between 29-July and 12-Aug. Natal Mercury is already residing in the 3rd house. Mercury is the lord of 2nd and 5th houses. Hence, as explained earlier, the malefic combination of transit Jupiter, Natal Saturn, transit & Natal Mercury will have the effect on 2nd and 5th house along with 3rd house. Fortunately, Mercury being a Benefic, the impact will be minimal. Once again, 2nd house deals with Revenues, 5th house with education & entertainment industry.

Venus a Malefic and lord of 1st and 6th houses. Transit Venus will be in Virgo (5th house getting 3rd aspect from Natal Saturn) between Sep-25 and Oct-18. Thus, during this period, the 5th house gets further impacted very badly. Since it is Venus, it must be something dealing with public health.

Between Oct-18 and Nov-11, Venus will be cojoining Saturn in LIBRA. Venus is the owner there by it is cojoining with Malefic Jupiter too all in 6th house. All the three malefics are directly aspecting 12th house during this period. During this period, the Country will face some of the worst days pertaining to Diseases & Public health, Military, Hospitals, Crimes.
